It’s the end of the weekend for almost everyone, but it’s the middle of mine! I just got to Chicago, where I’ll be spending the next two days. So exciting!IMG_0371.JPG

And me this week? I…

  • Grabbed froyo with Elise. My combo was salted caramel topped with sprinkles, crushed Oreo cookies, brownie bites, hot fudge, Cool Whip and a cherry. So delicious.
  • Watched the Red Wings take game one of the playoffs from the comfort of my favorite Mt. Pleasant bar, the Bird.
  • Went bar hopping in downtown East Lansing with my sister and a few friends from college. Stops included Rick’s and the Riv.
  • Brunched with my college Friend Emily at Uptown Kitchen in Mishawaka before doing some window shopping at Charming Charlie and Target.
  • Voyaged to Chicago to visit my friend Robbie for the weekend.

This week, I’ll be enjoying two days in Chicago before heading back to work for a full weekend shift. What about you? Let me know in the comments!

Your fro-yo looks delicious! I hope you are having a good time in Chicago. As for me, finals start in about a week, which is totally crazy. I’m probably going to spend the next week in a state of panic, and hopefully studying!

Going through comments makes me want more froyo now! Chicago was great! I wish you nothing but the best of luck on finals. I remember how stressful they were and I wouldn’t wish that feeling upon anybody. I’m sure you’ll rock it out Colleen!

So crazy about the Lilly for Target deal. Good thing I’m not really into that! Have fun in Chicago!

I know! The hashtag drama was insane. I think I’ll keep my individuality, so I’m not at all bummed about not getting a piece of the merch. 🙂

OMG. My friend and I went to Target later that day and there were high school girls SPRINTING around the store screaming “NOOOO WE’RE TOO LATE!” We couldn’t stop laughing. It was INSANE!
