Randi with a posvidka

Slava ukraini! heroyam slava!

From 2019-2020, I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the incredible country of Ukraine.

While I was anticipating on spending two-plus years in Eastern Europe, my plans changed when COVID struck and Peace Corps evacuated all of its volunteers, world-wide.

Prior to evacuation, I spent time training in Zhytomyr, living in Khmelnytskyi and working at Gymnasium No. 2 as a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) teacher to secondary school students.

Regardless, the time I did get to spend in Ukraine was amazing, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
