My style and tastes have definitely changed over the years (for better or worse, that remains to be seen), but my obsession for coffee mugs remains.
(After clicking that link, I’m gonna go ahead and say it’s changed for the better.)
I’m buying fewer and fewer ceramic mugs these days though because, well…
…I have more of a need for enamel coffee mugs.
I definitely drink a lot more percolator coffee (made over a campfire or camp stove) now than I did when I lived in Chicago!
It’s funny — when I started compiling this list, I was focused on cute mugs.
And then, as it turns out? Most of the cute enamel mugs I found actually benefit some really great companies that do a lot to keep our public lands and communities safe and clean.

1: “The Mountains are Calling” candle mug: Not only does this mug come with a bonus candle, it also helps clean oceans. United By Blue is B Corp and Climate Neutral certified, and for every purchase, the company will remove one pound of trash from our planet’s oceans.
2: Michigan — or, your home state! — outline mug: Etsy is a treasure trove of cute (and affordable!) enamel mugs, including this one, which can be customized to reflect your home (or favorite) state.
3: Parks Project National Parks mug: Parks Project donates a portion of its proceeds to various projects that benefit America’s public lands through partner organizations.
4: GSI enamel mug If you just want a cheap, durable, reliable and simple mug from a reputable brand, this GSI Outdoors mug is a whopping $7 and will last probably forever.
5: Smokey Bear mug: Landmark Project is one of my favorites! Every Smokey-branded product results in a donation to U.S. Forest Service (Hello! That’s me!) Wildfire Prevention Education, and other collaborations benefit the National Parks Conservation Association! Plus, these designs are just SO cool!
6: Three-pack enamel mug package: Keep Nature Wild hosts community clean-ups, and aims to collect one pound of trash for every product sold.
