So… what have I bought recently? A whole lot of new tech, only one new skincare/ haircare product and a product probably meant for 12-year-olds that I love anyway.

Surfing Pikachu credit card sticker. The internet strikes again! This popped up on social media somewhere and I immediately bought it with zero hesitation. I completely forgot where I got my exact credit card sticker, but this website has a ton of fun designs. My card sticker is durable thus far, and I haven’t had any issues getting it in card readers. I get a ton of compliments on it, too.
ISLE “Explorer 3” paddle board. I’ve gone into depth on my new paddle board so this shouldn’t be a surprise, but it’s still a recent purchase that I love!
Better World Books. I’ve been ordering a lot of books lately to prepare for my upcoming 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training, and I’ve been placing a lot of those orders via Better World Books. I used Better World Books a lot during college, and I completely forgot how awesome it is for affordable, pre-owned books.
NikiBiki tank tops. I recently discovered these tank tops and I am obsessed with them to the point I bought multiple in several styles and colors. The chevron ribbed crop tank tops are my favorite, followed by the plunge ribbed tank tops. These tops are great for everything. Over sports bras for yoga, under overalls for the farmers market, paired with maxi skirts for bar nights. They’re fantastic.
Oatly non-dairy ice cream. I love that these come in little single-serving containers. They’re not healthy by any means, but they taste just as good as milk-based ice cream and are a lot better if you have any sensitivities to dairy products.
iPhone 15. Let me tell you, I loved my iPhone mini. LOVED. But, sadly, Apple discontinued the mini line of iPhones and, yes, I will die mad about it. I held onto my iPhone 13 mini for as long as I could, but it finally succumbed to fate during a paddle boarding excursion with Ochi. I ended up with a new iPhone 15. I love the dynamic island, emergency text via satellite and longer battery life, but I hate the phone size, lack of a SIM tray and the need to replace all my old charging cables.
Casely. On that note, a new iPhone means a new iPhone case. I outfitted my iPhone 15 with the same Casely case I had on my iPhone 13 mini — a fun retro-inspired glow-in-the-dark (perfect for camping) case that matches my black iPhone and reminds me of ’90s roller rink carpeting.
Anker MagSafe battery pack. A new iPhone also means a new portable battery pack. While my iPhone 15 battery lasts way longer than my iPhone 13 mini’s battery ever did, I still sprung for a portable battery pack, because they’re always nice to have, especially for work. My old Mophie battery pack had built-in micro-USB/Lightning cables, so it couldn’t be used with the iPhone 15. I went with a MagSafe pack so I could use it both with my new USB-C-outfitted iPhone 15, and my work phone, which is an older compatible model.
Cherry pitter. I’ve been on a major cherry kick lately. I tend to avoid buying superfluous kitchen gadgets and have spent the last several years hacking away at my sweet cherries with a paring knife and my fingernails, but I finally caved and got this OXO tool and it has saved me a significant amount of time and labor in the kitchen.
COOLA scalp and hair mist with SPF 30. This is sunscreen for your hair part! Genius, right? I wear baseball hats a lot, but I’m not the biggest fan of them. Earlier this year, I skipped the hat on my backpacking adventure in southern Arizona, and my hair part got so burnt. I found this solution last month and so far, I love it.
