Randi with a really cool day job

only you can prevent wildfires

I’m lucky enough to have a really incredible day job that I accidentally stumbled into back in 2020.

(NO, I am NOT a firefighter.)

I work full time for the federal government handling public affairs needs for an agency focused on forestry and wildfire.

While I love every single aspect of my job — ranging from standing up on camera for media interviews to writing news releases about recreation sites — my favorite aspect of my job is working as a Public Information Officer on wildfires.

Here’s just a slice of the cool stuff I get paid to do.
