It’s been a mostly mild winter, but I’m still excited for spring!
Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these!
But, we kicked the new year off with a “return to office” initiative, and once I took a look at my closet, I realized I needed new clothes.
I’ve spent the last three years working from home in leggings, slippers and Patagonia fleeces, and before that, I spent six months of unemployment wearing sports bras and running shorts. Prior to that, I rotated through the same five outfits as a Peace Corps volunteer and before that, it was 2019 and I was running through Chicago in dark skinny jeans and ballet flats.
Fashion has changed quite a bit since the last time I set foot in an office environment.
The youths wear baggy pants now.
RIP business casual.
Today marks a month since we lost our Yukon.
I’m back with another lil product review post recapping some of the things I’ve bought, tried and loved over the course of the last few weeks.

My legs are SORE and my poor feet are blistered to shreds!
Ryan and I spent this past weekend hiking around the Coronado National Forest’s Sabino Canyon Recreation Area at the base of the Santa Catalina mountains outside of Tucson, Ariz!
We put in 19 miles and 3,200 feet of elevation gain (hence the sore legs!) to see Bear Canyon and Sabino Canyon, with a few stops (and an overnight campsite!) in between.
This month was not the best month for reading.
I’ve been lamenting about it a bit but we’re back to the office at work which means I’ve been pretty intentional about my meal planning, prepping and eating — especially on the days I start, or end, or — start AND end — my days at one of my fitness studios.
Like… yesterday.
