It’s February, and I’m still wearing my fall outfits while waiting for winter to hit here in Chicago. This is definitely a very new conundrum.
Talk about Midwest probs. Bare legs in February? Southern residents, is this what your life is like?(Pst, affiliate links!)
skirt ∙ sweater ∙ button-up (old, similar) ∙ shoes ∙ necklace (custom, similar)
But, in all seriousness, this weather has been great. Sadly I’ve been sick and locked inside the past few days for the 70-degree streak, but hey, I’ll settle for experiencing high 50’s. That still sounds great to me.
Pushing the imminent threat threat of global warming/ climate change aside, something as simple as a warm breeze is more than welcome during what’s usually the dreariest month of every year.
So, even though I couldn’t break out the sundresses just yet, it was fun to ditch the tights and snow boots in order to put a warm-weather twist on one of my go-to winter uniforms.
Now, if you need me, I’ll just be staring out the window and waiting until I can swap my lattes for cold brew and my plaids for florals!
